My life on the campus

Caen campus

A true student metropolis just a few kilometers from the beaches, Caen is ranked third in the Étudiant magazine’s ranking of the best student cities in France. The city perfectly combines quality of life, cultural richness, and academic dynamism.

An easily accessible campus

Easily accessible by public transport, the Caen campus is ideally located in the heart of the SuperCampus Epopéa, which has a total of 14,000 students from all backgrounds. A bicycle parking area allows you to park right next to the main entrance to the campus.

Access to the campus is via a code or your student card, which will be given to you at the start of the academic year. These will allow you to access the School, classrooms and various areas throughout your course at EM Normandie.

EM Normandie experience

The campus offers students facilities that not only enable them to study in ideal conditions thanks to connected classrooms, but also to enjoy the full EM Normandie experience: sports field, Learning Centre, relaxation room. The academic support teams – Hub – are conveniently located on the ground floor of the main building to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Catering service

A cafeteria area is available, along with food and drink vending machines. You can buy your meal on site or reheat your lunch.
A university restaurant is located just opposite the campus. Only credit cards and IZLYCARD are accepted for payment. No cash or cheques. The Carrefour Côte de Nacre shopping centre is only a 10-minute walk away and offers a wide range of dining options.

Associative life

Students Associations at EM Normandie are an essential part of the student experience, offering a multitude of opportunities to get involved, innovate and develop transferable skills. The numerous associations covering a wide range of fields such as entrepreneurship, culture, sport and social impact allow everyone to find their place and thrive.

Student life is particularly lively in Caen. Home to Europe’s largest student carnival, student parties and cultural events punctuate the city, offering numerous opportunities to meet people and exchange ideas. Every year, the city hosts the Beauregard Festival, and numerous venues promote culture, such as the Cargö and BBC contemporary music venues.

Caen is also a dynamic economic hub, offering many opportunities for internships, work-study programmes and jobs. Public transport, with an efficient bus and tram network, makes it easy to get around the city.
