A true student metropolis just a few kilometers from the beaches,Caen ranks third in *Étudiant* magazine’s list of the best student cities in France. The city perfectly combines quality of life, cultural richness, and academic dynamism.

THE CAEN CAMPUS, BETWEEN THE SEA AND THE CITY

An easily accessible campus

Easily accessible by public transport, the Caen campus is ideally located in the heart of the SuperCampus Epopéa, which has a total of 14,000 students from all backgrounds. A bicycle parking area allows you to park right next to the main entrance to the campus.

Access to the campus is granted via a code issued at the start of the academic year, which allows entry through the automatic gates for the duration of your studies at EM Normandie. Access to lecture theatres outside of class times is granted using a key issued by reception upon presentation of your student card.

The campus offers facilities that not only allow you to study in ideal conditions thanks to its connected classrooms, but also enable you to fully embrace the EM Normandie experience: sports fiels, Learning Centre, study rooms and a relaxation area. The academic support teams – Hub – are conveniently located on the ground floor of the main building to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

A cafeteria area is available, along with food and drink vending machines. You can buy your meal on site or reheat your lunch.
A university restaurant is located just opposite the campus. Only credit cards and IZLYCARD are accepted for payment. No cash or cheques. The Carrefour Côte de Nacre shopping centre is only a 10-minute walk away and offers a wide range of dining options.

Associative life

Students Associations at EM Normandie are an essential part of the student experience, offering a multitude of opportunities to get involved, innovate and develop transferable skills. The numerous associations covering a wide range of fields such as entrepreneurship, culture, sport and social impact allow everyone to find their place and thrive.

AN IDEAL CITY FOR A GLOBAL EXPERIENCE

Student life is particularly lively in Caen. Home to Europe’s largest student carnival, student parties and cultural events punctuate the city, offering numerous opportunities to meet people and exchange ideas. Every year, the city hosts the Beauregard Festival, and numerous venues promote culture, such as the Cargö and BBC contemporary music venues.

Caen is also a dynamic economic hub, offering many opportunities for internships, work-study programmes and jobs. Public transport, with an efficient bus and tram network, makes it easy to get around the city.
