Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What is the CVEC?

All students enrolled in initial training at a higher education establishment must obtain a certificate of payment of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (Contribution de Vie Étudiante et de Campus – CVEC) prior to enrolment, by payment or exemption. Please note that the name entered on the CVEC certificate (surname, first name) must be exactly the same as that given when registering at EM Normandie, for it to be accepted by our registration portal.

  • Do I have to pay the CVEC?

Yes, all students enrolled in initial training in higher education in France must pay the CVEC each year. However, the following are exempt from this contribution: students on grants, those on professional training contracts and international students who are not paying and who are hosted in France as part of an exchange programme.

  • I am studying on an EM Normandie international campus (Dubai, Dublin, Oxford). Do I have to pay the CVEC?

Yes, even if you are studying on an international campus, you must pay the CVEC. As EM Normandie is a French school based abroad, it is subject to this contribution. You can choose the French campus of your choice to pay the CVEC (Caen, Le Havre or Clichy).

  • What is the purpose of the “training contract”?

The “contrat de formation” is a multi-year agreement which formalises the student’s enrolment at EM Normandie. This document summarises all the essential administrative and financial information for the entire academic course, such as the duration of studies (3 years for the BMI, 4 years for the BBA, 5 years for the PGE), the amount of tuition fees, and the payment methods chosen, etc. This contract is signed only when the student registers for the first time at the School (“new entrant” student) and remains valid throughout the student’s course at EM Normandie.

  • I have a grant. Which CROUS should I choose to apply?

Your scholarship application must be made to the CROUS de Normandie, select “l’École de Management de Normandie” then choose the city of your admission campus: “Caen, Le Havre or Clichy“.

  • I need a school certificate. Can you send it to me?

The certificate of attendance can be downloaded directly by the student from their Aurion space, in the “administrative documents” section of the left-hand menu. Please note that this section only appears once the registration process has been fully completed and validated by our services. If this section does not appear, it means that some documents are missing and still need to be sent to finalise the registration.

  • I need proof of payment of the deposit. Where can I find it?

You will receive the proof of payment by email from our partner “FlyWire” through which you have just paid the deposit. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk mail folder, you may find it there.

  • I’m hearing about “Ward”, what is that?

Ward is EM Normandie’s student intranet, designed to provide complete access to all the information essential for schooling. Available on computer (full version) and mobile application (light version), Ward allows students to: consult their course timetable, access their report card, declare absences, follow the latest news from the School, manage the procedures for declaring an internship or work-study programme, manage the procedures for choosing an expatriation, access the content of courses/homework/syllabus via Up-Ward.

And so much more. Start downloading Ward now to take full advantage of its features and prepare for the start of the new school year.
